THREE HOURS OF RESISTENCE IN PERALADA

Some weeks ago, on 14th April, in the village of Peralada, the first race of resistance of ACCEMA, Championship took place. This race consisted in doing the maximum laps which were possible during three hours. The team that did more laps was the winner. To participate in this race you could ride alone or with a partner, so I rode with a friend called Tete Fort.

Firstly, there were timed workouts which lasted around an hour and I did the second best lap. After that, I and Tete made our strategy; it consisted in riding more or less, 30 minutes each one and to warn to change we had to make a special signal. Secondly, there was the big race. We didn’t have a good start and we had to remount. Every hour our position was improving, but the track was very hard and difficult because there were a lot of stones and dust.

Finally, we finished sixth and although our hands and arms were aching, we had really enjoyed the race.
